5th Anniversary

| Sunday, November 30, 2008
Today just happens to be our 5th wedding anniversary. It's amazing how time flies.
It's been the best 5 years of my life, especially ever since we got the new addition to the family 3 years ago.

Yup, that's him. The naughty one in the middle :)

Graduation

| Sunday, November 23, 2008
Last week Ryan's playgroup held a celebration ceremony for students graduating to preschool. Ryan was one of them.
It's actually not really a graduation, but rather, students who are old enough to attend preschool are not allowed to join the playgroup anymore, hence the "graduation" :)
Anyhow, I like the idea. It was a fun event with all the kids doing performances. They were really cute :)

Ryan will be going to another school next year.

3 Stitches

| Sunday, November 16, 2008
About 3 weeks ago Ryan took my keys to play with them. He left it on the floor and somehow one of the key pointed upwards. He jumped down from the sofa and landed his left foot on the key. It went in for about 1 cm long.
We panicked so much that night we didn't know what to do. I pulled the key off his foot and my wife pressed his wound, then we rushed him to hospital where he got 3 stitches for the wound.

It broke my heart seeing him go through the ordeal, especially when he was being sedated.
They say love hurts, this must be what they mean.

But all is OK now. After a week he could walk normally again.
We took him out for a walk after that since he was so bored staying home all that time.

One, Two, Three, Smile!

| Sunday, November 9, 2008
Whenever we take Ryan's picture, we always say "one, two, three, smile!" to get his attention to the camera.
It must have really stuck to him now that he would say that when he wants us to take his picture.

Few days ago, he saw his Mickey t-shirt lying around in our study room. He then quickly handed me the t-shirt and said "one, two, three, smile!" while quickly taking off his clothes :)
His mum took out his Mickey doll from the bedroom and got them to pose together.

Favorite Snack

| Sunday, November 2, 2008
Last year my mum visited us, and she brought this "Sambal Goreng" snack, which is really really nice.
My wife gave it to Ryan and he liked it so much that he has to have the snack along with his daily meals. He really eats better with it.

Problem is, it's only available in my hometown, so when last month we realized we were running low, we panicked a bit :D
I called my mum and she bought a few cans and gave it to my elder brother in Jakarta and he sent it to us. It arrived a few days ago.

Thanks Nai-Nai! Thanks Ah-Pak!
